Happy Tails Grooming Spa (HTGS) has had the privilege of working closely with Animal Alliance of Belle Mead since early 2004.   Animal Alliance volunteers frequent “high kill shelters” in southern New Jersey and Philadelphia and literally pull animals off death row, just hours or minutes before they are scheduled for euthanasia.  

Adoption fees and donations make up Animal Alliance’s small budget. The Belle Mead Animal Hospital in Hillsborough, N.J., provides medical attention to the animals and offers the group a discount rate for specialized surgeries on animals that have been abused or injured. The hospital also allows Animal Alliance to hold adoption days in its lobby.

HTGS has groomed hundreds of wonderful dogs that have been rescued by Animal Alliance and successfully adopted a large number of these dogs.  Many to our existing clients and to people who have become clients!  A few of our success stories include:
